The Café At Porlock Weir with Rooms (formerly Andrew’s On The Weir) is owned and run by husband and wife team Andrew and Sarah Dixon.
Chef Andrew Dixon is passionate about food and aims to delivery the highest standards found anywhere on Exmoor and the West Country. Andrew worked for many years in some of Britians finest Country House hotels and in Michelin Stared Restaurants. Sarah with her professional team runs the front of house and prides herself on providing friendly, professional and attentive service.
The Café has an envious position nestling in the foothills of Porlock Weir overlooking the Bristol Channel where Exmoor meets the sea.
We offer the perfect destination for a few days away by the sea where you can enjoy the sea air and eat fantastic food. It is just over a three hour drive from London or 2 hours from Bristol.
The Café At Porlock Weir has 5 individual en suite bedrooms mostly with panoramic sea views. All bedrooms are named after local Exmoor villages and have flat screen televisions, Cafetiere coffee and tea making facilities. All the bedrooms are dog friendly.
The Selworthy room, is a junior suite with a four poster king size bed, comfy sofas, armchairs and its own whirlpool bath.
