Minehead EYE is a not-for-profit youth and community centre in Minehead, West Somerset providing facilities and opportunities to all.

It houses an indoor skatepark, cafe, IT suite and free wifi, pool, ping-pong, games, recording studio and media lab, and DJ booth, and runs courses and workshops in media, music and sport, i.e. animation, graffiti, and making it in the music industry!

Wimbleball Lake, campsite and activities centre is managed by the South West Lakes Trust– ‘Conservation and Leisure Working Together’.  We extend a warm welcome to visitors at this stunningly beautiful reservoir nestled in the hills of Exmoor. With tons to do, from sailing, fly-fishing, archery, canoeing, bushcraft, cycling, walking or just relaxing and taking in the scenery, you won’t regret your visit to us!

Campsite facilities include showers, washing up facilities, laundry room, café, gift shop and 12 electric hook-ups.

Watersports / landbased opportunities include launch, hire and tuition. We have an indoor climbing wall, outdoor high-ropes facility, indoor and outdoor archery range, and a new cycle path from the café down to the dam.

Fly fishing Season: 15 March – 31 October (Bank fishing only until 30 November). This nationally renowned lake is regularly stocked with Rainbows up to 5lb to ensure excellent sport. There is a good mayfly hatch in late June/early July, whilst buzzer fishing gives good sport throughout the season. Fishing boats are available (with outboards).

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and out of the reservoir

Streamcombe Cookery is owned and run by Ian Jarmarkier. The one day cookery courses are held in beautiful rustic stone barn and have a maximum of six places. Streamcombe Farm is a small, boutique bed and breakfast 1.5 miles from Dulverton, situated on the southern border of Exmoor National Park. The setting is very rural and wild, tranquil and relaxing.

A beautiful stone barn was converted in 2009 to create unusual and contemporary guest accommodation. There’s nothing better than guiding people along the Exmoor coastline, down a grade II river or mountain biking over the moorlands. It’s great to see the reaction of individuals, escpecially when they are made aware of what Exmoor offers in terms of stunning scenery, wildlife and adventure!”
